informal GPS Poll

Hi All,
I'm heading out... Have all the spots I would like to see programmed into the computer and GPS.
My question is this, how many of you really use GPS and digital maps?
I use these gadgets for work and also program my fun trips into them for planing purposes. Its nice to have but when I'm out there for pleasure I rarely turn the damn thing on (rather save the batteries for the camera).

Anyhow just an informal poll (I'll be gone, so talk amongst yourselves), how much do you use digital (geocoaded) maps and especially GPS when playing in the "park"?
